Based in Los Angeles, Aural State is a trans electronic artist, producer, and world-builder shaping the evolution of underground music. Her sound fuses trance, house, and techno with modular synthesis, analog circuitry, and precise engineering—immersive work built with emotional clarity and technical depth.
She is the founder of Threshold Recordings, a trans-owned label amplifying queer and independent artists. Threshold functions as a creative engine—releases, experiences, and artist-first infrastructure outside of industry gatekeeping.
Her remix of “Warrior” by Robyn Cage was featured in The Friction of a Modulated Soul, which won Best Dance Performance at the Raindance Immersive Festival. Known for a hybrid hardware workflow and DIY engineering, Aural State designs custom tools and modular systems as part of her process.
She extends her work through Grid City, a network of virtual venues and performance systems in VRChat that merges underground music culture with immersive technology.
